I know it sort of sounds like an oxymoron, but that’s probably one of the things that reading this blog may give you a new look at. The Homeless Guy Blog is written by Kevin Barbieux, who is a homeless man in Nashville. I know you’re probably thinking that if a homeless person can have a laptop and an internet connection, he can have a job and a place to stay. Well, I’ll let you in on this little jewel, he also owns a digital camera that he records video with. But that’s one of the things that this blog will teach you, not all homeless people are urine-soaked drunkards who sleep next to dogs to keep warm. Some homeless are better off than others. But if you spend your time reading this blog looking for ways to discredit the guy, you’re just wasting your time. The blog has little to do with himself, and a lot more to do with raising awareness of what it’s like to be homeless, and what the world looks like from the streets. He writes regularly, and well, and if nothing else, to me, it’s a reminder that not everyone in the world own an iPod and an Xbox.
