I have always been a sucker for cute/funny cat pictures and videos. Heck, just about anything to do with them really. Well, today i found what will likely be the end of me. FunnyCatVideos.net has already claimed way too much of my life. they seem to update fairly often, which is great, or terrible. I can’t decide. Either way, as I sat here, trying to be quiet (the wife is in bed, works early in the morning) I find myself unable to not laugh, and it hurts trying to hold it in. Something like this can’t be kept a secret.

I just got word from my sister, that a man in my brother-in-law’s squadron was shot and killed today. He was a helicopter pilot, and while he was in search of an enemy, he was killed. All I know is that his name was Matt, and he had a fiancée at home. I have one previous post speaking of my brother-in-laws station over there, and it’s not much. Just a little “we’re proud of you, and we’re praying for you.”

I don’t know much about war. I’ve watched movies. I’ve heard stories. I don’t think any of us can really understand it until we’ve been a part of it. Since Brian has been over there, I’ve prayed for him every night during my dinner blessing. Every night I remember at least. This is pretty much the only thought I have give to him during the months he’s been over there.
